So, why is everything in dollars?

I'm using cafepress for the shop, because it's easy, but they're in the US so everything is in dollars (and you also need to pay a bit more to get your stuff delivered). But the good old British pound is still strong against that lousy green dollar, so it's not all bad. That said, if anyone knows about a UK-based site that does the same sort of thing, let me know.
